Spring 2019 grade reporting

March 26, 2019

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- As the end of the spring 2019 semester approaches, instructors are reminded that grades should be recorded no later than two business days after the final exam or final assessment of a course. For the spring 2019 semester, the last day of final exams is May 3, as published in the university academic calendar. Therefore, all grades should be recorded in LionPATH by midnight on May 7. Grades can be submitted in the LionPATH Faculty Center Grade Roster either manually or via an import from Canvas.

The LionPATH grade notification system will alert students when a new grade has been entered on their record. Students also will receive a notification when they have a grade change. This grade notification consists of an email message sent to the student's Penn State email account that identifies the course for which the grade has been recorded and includes a link to the "View My Grades" section in the LionPATH Student Center.

The last day of classes for the spring 2019 semester is April 26, followed by final exams during the week of April 29 - May 3. On May 8, the Office of the University Registrar will begin end-of-semester processes, such as final grade reporting, academic standing, and degree conferral.
