Coronavirus Updates from the Office of the University Registrar

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- In accordance with precautionary measures taken by Penn State due to the coronavirus pandemic, Shields Building on the Penn State University Park campus is closed to the public. The Office of the University Registrar currently is operating remotely to continue supporting the needs of University students, faculty, and staff.

Service Adjustments

The closure of Shields Building means that our office has extremely limited access to incoming mail and mailing services. To ensure that we are able to process your requests as quickly as possible, we are instituting the following service adjustments during this remote work period:

Services Temporarily Unavailable

The following services are temporarily unavailable:

  1. Notary Services
  2. FedEx Express Delivery Transcripts

Form Submissions

All Office of the University Registrar forms should be submitted via email to registrar@psu.edu. Current Penn State students should submit these forms from their official Penn State email account.

Transcript and Enrollment Verification Requests

All transcript and enrollment verification requests should be submitted online via the Office of the University Registrar website. Instructions for ordering a transcript can be found at http://www.registrar.psu.edu/transcripts/official-transcripts.cfm. Instructions for ordering an enrollment verification can be found at http://www.registrar.psu.edu/enrollment-verifications/index.cfm.

Longer Processing Time

Please note that some services may require extended time to complete. We will process requests in the order they are received as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
