Penn State Community:

Welcome to the Office of the University Registrar. This Web site is provided as a resource to assist a wide array of constituents including current students, alumni, parents, and University faculty and staff.

The Office of the University Registrar has University-wide responsibility for student academic records and related processes including:

  • Registering for courses
  • Academic transcripts
  • Confidentiality of Student Records
  • Grade reporting
  • Degree Audit
  • Graduation and diplomas
  • Verifying enrollment
  • Final exams

  • Scheduling classrooms
  • Publishing the Schedule of Courses

Students- Whatever your specific academic goal, you have made a fine choice in selecting Penn State as your institution of higher education. Your decision to enroll at Penn State has been based on careful consideration regarding the quality of our academic programs, the reputation of faculty, and the multi-dimensional opportunities provided by this University. Our desire is that you focus your efforts on academics, not administrative matters. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible service delivered to you on your terms.

Alumni - Whether you are interested in resuming enrollment at Penn State, or are in need of an official transcript for employment, professional certification, or other purposes, our goal is to provide you with efficient service and complete information.

Parents - Penn State's basic position is that your child is independent. Federal legislation limits the information we may share with you regarding your student. I invite you to examine the Information for Parents section for additional information.

Faculty and Staff - This Web site provides extensive information related to the Integrated Student Information System, enrollment reporting, information technology documentation and various policies and procedures. Many of these information services are secure sites that require prior authorization before access is allowed.

Regardless of your role, our job is to serve you. We take this responsibility seriously and strive to provide you with the best service possible. If you have a suggestion about how we can serve you better, I would like to hear from you. If you feel that you have not been served satisfactorily, I would like to know about your experience. Please feel free to contact me by phone at 814-863-3681 or e-mail me at kls2@psu.edu.

Sincerely,

Karen Schultz
